2021 Virtual Kidney & Liver Transplant Financial Bootcamp

Feb 25 7:00 PM - Mar 19, 8:00 PM 2021
Feb 25, 2021 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

ASTS will be hosting the popular Kidney & Liver Transplant Financial Bootcamp in a virtual format in March 2021! The ASTS Financial Bootcamp was designed in response to a recurring request from attendees of the ASTS Leadership Development Program (LDP) who requested a deep dive into the financial aspects of managing successful kidney and liver transplant programs.

The Financial Bootcamp will be divided into three units: The Nuts and Bolts of Transplant Finance, Putting Knowledge into Action, and Financial Planning in 2021 and Beyond. Each unit will include both liver and kidney topics including understanding transplant finance, contracting, financial impacts of living donation, staffing models, budgeting, effects of COVID-19 on transplant centers, regulatory updates, and more. Each unit will be recorded as video and posted on the ASTS Academic Universe, with a new unit becoming available each week on February 26th, March 5th, and March 12th. Once attendees have had the opportunity to view each unit's content at their own pace, there will be a 90-minute live moderated Q&A session to answer attendee questions and discuss important topics from the course. Live Q&A sessions for the unit will be held one week after its release, and will occur on March 5th, 12th, and 19th from 12-1:30pm eastern time.

ASTS is grateful to CareDx, Natera, Inc., Novartis, Sanofi, and Veloxis Pharmaceuticals for sponsoring this program!
