Each year, the spring season brings renewal and with it, new hope and a sense of looking forward to the future. The recent rollout of COVID vaccines has brought hope to many people. I truly believe we are entering a new season in both our country and our Society. In the spirit of embracing positive change and growth, ASTS is in the process of developing a strategic plan and is seeking volunteers to join a strike force to help develop this plan. The Strategic Planning Strike Force will analyze the Society's current position, the current state of transplantation, and what our members are thinking and care about. They will then undertake a formal planning process and create a focused vision of the Society's future for consideration by the Council, informed by the results of the strategic planning survey recently circulated to membership.

In recognition of the lives lost in Atlanta and in support of the Asian American/Pacific Islander community, ASTS affirms that we stand against racism, hatred, and oppression in all its forms and strongly condemn acts of violence that arise from them. Our field, our teams, and our communities must be safe spaces for everyone.
Help plan the future of ASTS and respond to the Strategic Planning Survey by March 29, 2021.
