New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center is hosting a CME accredited program on Pediatric Abdominal Organ Transplant entitled “Pediatric Liver Disease and Transplantation” to be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019, in New York City.

NYP/Columbia University Irving Medical Center’s Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation (CLDT) experts offer extensive experience diagnosing and treating all forms and stages of liver disease in adults and adolescents. They assess and treat liver disease with standard medical therapy, investigational protocols, and surgical therapy. In addition, they serve as a primary transplantation center. The overall goal of this program is to learn about commonly encountered liver disease in adolescents and to understand the causes, signs, symptoms, risk factors, and screening, as well as innovative approaches to treatment and long-term management. The format of this program will consist of
lectures and interactive discussion based on the overall goal of pediatric liver disease and transplantation.
