Transplant surgeons welcome the exciting news that the immunosuppressant drug coverage bill was signed into law this week. ASTS was very proud to see that Congress included the text of the House-passed Comprehensive Immunosuppressive Drug Coverage for Kidney Transplant Patients Act (Immuno Bill) – H.R. 5534 – as part of the last COVID relief package in 2020 and it is now the law of the land.
The 2021 SF Match for positions starting in 2022 will open on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. All Transplant Accreditation & Certification Council (TACC) Accredited Fellowship Training Programs should conduct virtual interviews with fellow candidates for the 2021 SF Match cycle.
The American Society of Transplant Surgeons is pleased to announce that Maggie Kebler-Bullock, CFRE, has been appointed as the ASTS Executive Director/CEO. She will formally step into the role on January 1, 2021.
Applications are invited December 1-31, 2020, for the AJT Editorial Fellowship, a program which offers a year-long editorial experience in the publication and peer review process to fellows and junior faculty in transplant-related fields.
