Debra Sudan, MD
Duke University Medical Center
Dr. Sudan attended medical school and completed her residency at Wright State University. She also completed a research fellowship at New York University before moving to Omaha, Nebraska to complete a fellowship in abdominal organ transplant surgery. Following her abdominal transplant surgery fellowship, she was asked to stay on as a faculty member at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In 2008, Dr. Sudan joined Duke University as a tenured Professor of Surgery.
Daniela Ladner, MD, MPH
Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
Dr. Ladner is a NIH sponsored surgeon-scientist and the Founding Director of the Northwestern University Transplant Outcomes Research Collaborative. She completed her residency and fellowship at Stanford University Hospital and received her MPH at Harvard School of Public Health. Her research focuses on the epidemiology and risk prediction of cirrhosis and process improvement related to transplantation.
Matthew Levine, MD, PhD
University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine
Dr. Levine attended medical school at Yale University before completing his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed his fellowship at University of California San Francisco Medical Center and Hospital. He currently holds the position of Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and was recognized by America's Top Doctors in 2015-2017, as well as Philadelphia magazine's annual Top Docs issues from 2017-2021.
Dinee Simpson, MD
Northwestern University
Dr. Simpson attended medical school at New York University before completing residency at Brigham & Women's Hospital. She completed her fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Simpson is current the Vice Chair for Faculty Development and Diversity in the Department of Surgery and Assistant Professor of Surgery (Organ Transplantation) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Samantha Halpern, MSN, CRNP
Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis
Samantha Halpern is a Nurse Practitioner, Liver Health (Hepatology) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at the Goldfarb School of Nursing in St. Louis, MO before receiving her Master's Degree: Family Nurse Practitioner at Texas Woman's University in Dallas.
