ASTS is pleased to announce that A. Benedict Cosimi, MD, will give the David Hume Lecture at the 17th Annual State of the Art Winter Symposium, and Oscar Salvatierra, Jr., MD, will give the keynote address, "Transplant Surgery Career: A Unique Blend of Challenging Diverse Opportunity and Humanitarianism," at the Pre-Meeting on January 26. ASTS will also present a rare honorary membership to Kenneth P. Moritsugu, MD, MPH, F.A.C.P.M., during the awards session.

Be sure not to miss the soapbox session, "Changing Metrics for Increasing Utilization: Fix the System." Selected presenters will have 5 minutes each to present their proposals on Sunday, January 29.

Selected presentations throughout the symposium will offer AMA PRA Category I Credit™ and self-assessment credits toward Part 2 of the American Board of Surgery Program. There will be a maximum of 10.0 MOC credits available at this year's symposium. This is an ideal opportunity to earn credits toward your ABS certification or recertification. There is no extra cost to participate.
