April is National Donate Life Month, where the transplant community comes together to honor those who have given the gift of life and to encourage others to register as organ and tissue donors. With over 100,000 people on the national transplant waiting list, this month is particularly significant for all of us. I encourage all of you to participate in the Donate Life Month activities, such as posting and sharing on social media, talking to friends and family about organ donation, and listening to the stories of donor families and transplant recipients.
