  • ASTS 17th Annual State of the Art Winter Symposium

    Miami | Dates: 26 – 29 Jan, 2017

As more patients suffer due to the shortage of life-saving donor organs each year, the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) is focusing its Winter Symposium on innovative science and effective public policy to combat this crisis. Join us in Miami in January 2017 to learn what is being done to save lives through expanding organ transplantation and turning our ideas into action.

Zika update: The Loews and the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau are making every effort to ensure the safety of guests, including a mosquito remediation program and extensive spraying in the area. Miami-Dade County is using the most sophisticated mosquito control techniques to control the spread of Zika.

ASTS is in contact with the Centers for Disease Control, which has downgraded the area to a Zika cautionary area (yellow). The safety of our attendees is our primary concern, and we are planning to distribute mosquito repellent onsite and will continue to monitor the situation.
