Improving Post-Transplant Communication of New Donor Information

Policy changes related to disease transmission reporting were approved at the OPTN’s June board meeting. These changes will take effect on September 1, 2016. The changes aim to reduce over-reporting so that you can focus on relevant and critical results,  require OPOs to develop a reporting protocol and to conduct toxoplasmosis IgG testing on all deceased donors. Register for a webinar to familiarize yourself with the changes and to learn about effective practices that can improve how you communicate and report potential donor-derived disease transmission events.

Webinar date: August 8, 2016 from 2p.m. – 3p.m. (ET)

Who should attend?

  • OPOs
  • Transplant hospitals
  • Living donor recovery centers
