The following is a list of open fellowship positions through the Abdominal Transplant Surgery Fellowship Match. All programs are required to participate in the match. 

Programs are responsible for notifying ASTS when the position has been filled.

2024 - 2026 Fellowship Positions

Medical College of Wisconsin - Kidney

The Abdominal Transplant Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin, affiliated with Froedtert Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, is accredited by the Transplant Accreditation & Certification Council of American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) to accept one fellow each year to train in all aspects of adult and pediatric kidney transplantation, deceased donor abdominal organ procurement, laparoscopic living-donor kidney donation as well as patient evaluation, pre- and post-transplantation care and management of immunosuppression medications. The fellows also participate in pediatric and adult, liver and pancreas transplantation, as well as hepatobiliary surgery and management of liver tumors in a multidisciplinary setting. With an active heart and lung transplant program as well,  the fellows will enjoy an experience with combined thoracic and abdominal transplant cases.

Eligibility:
In addition to the requirements for fellowship, the candidate must have completed USMLE step 3
